Sex or gender also plays a crucial factor in the development of dandruff, it is believed that males have more dandruff issues than females, and the male hormones may be responsible for this.

Wash your head regularly:

Yes, it works. Washing your hair regularly twice or thrice a week helps to remove your dandruff quantity on your scalp. It also prevents the accumulation of dandruff on your scalp and pores. Washing regularly will not clear dandruff completely, but it reduces the excess of dandruff.



Eat healthy food more vegetables and fruits, reduce the intake of junk, oily, and fried foods. 
Consume food rich in zinc, omega-6, vitamin B types, etc. The food that you need to add to your diet are:
  • Avocados
  • Nuts
  • Fatty fish
  • Egg
  • seeds
  • sweet potatoes
  • Spinach, etc.

Apply oil:

Applying oil to your hair and scalp regularly strengthens your hair follicles and scalp. It prevents the scalp from drying off. It also prevents the growth, development of bacteria and fungus on your scalp that is responsible for dandruff formation.


Brush your hair:

Brushing your hair too frequently is not recommended for your hairs and the scalp, as it may lead to damage to your scalp and hair follicles. 
Brushing the scalp helps to improve your blood circulation in that region and provides sufficient nutrients to the scalp and hair follicles that help to prevent the formation and development of dandruff.

This method I personally tried and got rid of dandruff for many days, but again it was back, as I discontinued it. Try this method once or twice a week and not more. If you perform it several times you may face a cold, chills, cough, etc.

Apply the mixture of curd and lemon juice on your scalp and hairs before you go to the bath. After applying it, allow it to settle for 15-20 minutes then wash your head with warm water and use the comb or brush while washing your hairs. It will drain dandruff along with curd and lemon.


Drink plenty of water:

It is the common tip we recommend for most body issues. Drinking water helps you stay hydrated, enhances your metabolic processes, and helps to maintain blood circulation.

It helps to prevent our scalp from drying and developing flakes of skin on the scalp.


Avoid environmental pollution:

Avoiding environmental pollution is an important tip for you all. In this modern world, the cities face the highest pollution issues due to which along with many serious conditions they face dandruff problems too. This pollution leads to the drying of your skin, hair, scalp, etc.
